It’s estimated that the average adult makes 35,000 decisions in a day. With so many decisions to make, it has become common for people to use social media as a way to get help on the decisions they are struggling with. This has become so standard that all the major social platforms now have built-in poll mechanisms allowing people to easily seek advice on things like the cabinet finish they should go with, the hair style they should get, or even the outfit they should wear. So based on the key insight that social posts with polls get more engagement than any other post type, we provided some perspective around the holidays and used these polls to show people the seemingly impossible decisions those less fortunate are forced to make every day.
